Experiment 002

Published on 2023-06-22

Experiment visualization

In this experiment, we explore the limits of typography as a medium for communication. By fragmenting letterforms to the edge of legibility, we question when meaning breaks down and what remains when conventional reading is no longer possible. The resulting visual patterns create new meanings that transcend linguistic understanding.

Methodology

The experiment began with a simple question: what happens when we push against the established conventions of digital interfaces? Through iterative prototyping and rigorous testing, unexpected behaviors emerged that challenged our understanding of how users interact with digital systems.

Results

The findings revealed that at the boundary of conventional interaction patterns, users develop new mental models and adaptive behaviors. This suggests that our perceived limitations in digital design are often self-imposed rather than inherent constraints of the medium.
