Experiment 003

Published on 2023-07-10

Experiment visualization

This experiment investigates the boundaries of human-computer interaction by creating interfaces that intentionally subvert expected behaviors. By creating navigation systems that adapt and change based on user behavior, we question the relationship between predictability and usability in digital environments.

Methodology

The experiment began with a simple question: what happens when we push against the established conventions of digital interfaces? Through iterative prototyping and rigorous testing, unexpected behaviors emerged that challenged our understanding of how users interact with digital systems.

Results

The findings revealed that at the boundary of conventional interaction patterns, users develop new mental models and adaptive behaviors. This suggests that our perceived limitations in digital design are often self-imposed rather than inherent constraints of the medium.
